The moonlight aims to replace millions of kerosene lanterns, which are costly in use and present a major fire risk in the straw and wooden Cambodian houses. The mission of Kamworks is to provide sustainable solar solutions for off-grid communities. About 80% of the Cambodian population live in the rural areas and have no access to an electricity grid. The Moonlight offers an economical and clean solution for these people and increases the employment in the rural areas.
