Hong Kong, May 6th 2012 After a successful design booth in the Product Design Centra Exhibition of the 111th Canton Fair, Ask4Me Group CEO Ms Boukje Koch was interviewed by the leading newspaper China Southern Morning Post. The article in general outlooked on the global economic situation high-lighted the growing demand in China for Design, Branding and Industrial Design. The article of Mimi Lau report on Ask4Me Group: "Boukje Koch, director of Ask4Me Group and a Guangzhou-based Dutch designer, said she expected to land twice as many deals as in October, as many of the group's customers were Chinese manufacturers who wish to give a smarter European look to their products. "From my experience, when sales go down for common products, the need for manufactures to create custom-made goods will always grow," Koch said." Ask4Me Group designed a brid singing cuckoo clock series for the german brand KooKoo. The items are a cuckoo wall clock called Birdhouse and a cuckoo alarm clock called Early Bird. Each clock contains thirteen bird sounds from a blackbird untill the oriole or the cuckoo itself. Ask4Me Group was responsible for the outer design, visualizing the concept to both the client and the manufacturer and quality control during production. |

Red Dot Design Award 2011 |

4 july 2011, Essen (Germany) Düsenjäger the new Vanmoof bicycle, won the prestigious Red Dot Design award 2011 in the categorie Sport and Games. Ask4Me Group is responsible for the design and production of the praised solar LED lights in the bicycle. The lights can be charged by sun or by micro-USB on rainy days. These lights are used in all Vanmoof bicycles and products. Vanmoof can proudly add the Red Dot Award on their awards list, next to the Eurobike award, the Dutch Design Award and the Design Management Europe Award. The Red Dot Design award ceremony will take place at the Red Dot Gala on the 4th of july in Red Dot museum in Essen. The Düsenjäger is expected to launch in August. |
